Top 100 African Infrastructure Project Developers Report Launched by Africa investor and IFC
Johannesburg, Lagos, Nairobi, Cairo, London, New York, Beijing, Dubai; 2 June 2015: Africa investor (Ai), a leading international investment and communications group, together with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, today announced the launch and presentation of the Ai Top 100 Infrastructure Project Developers Report to over 200 CEOs at the Ai Infrastructure Project Developers Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. Whilst infrastructure development has been the theme for development partners, there has been a dearth of engagement with project developers on the continent. Commenting on the report, Hubert Danso, CEO and Vice Chairman of Africa investor, said, “We are delighted to provide leadership on such a critical, forward-looking agenda. This is an industry we feel very strongly is in need of greater attention and support and we are happy to be at the forefront of promoting this community and their invaluable insights on fast-tracking infrastructure development in Africa. “Africa investor is also delighted to be able to provide this high-level platform and support to project development leaders working in Africa in partnership with IFC InfraVentures, an institution at the forefront of providing leadership and investment for Africa’s growing project development community. We are happy to partner with the IFC to better publicise the project development industry operating on the African continent.” The report lists the top 100 active project developers operating in Africa – published in one place for the first time – and addresses a number of issues, opportunities and solutions to the challenges that the industry faces. This seminal report is being publicised globally in the May- June edition of Africa investor magazine, available now on newsstands and through magazine subscriptions available directly from Africa investor.
